POPE FRANCIS: REJOICE AND BE GLAD
CHAPTER FOUR: SIGNS OF HOLINESS IN TODAY'S WORLD
126. Christian joy is usually accompanied by a sense of humour. We see this clearly, for example, in Saint Thomas More, Saint Vincent de Paul and Saint Philip Neri. Ill humour is no sign of holiness. “Remove vexation from your mind” (
11:10). We receive so much from the Lord “for our enjoyment” (
6:17), that sadness can be a sign of ingratitude. We can get so caught up in ourselves that we are unable to recognize God’s gifts.

The Importance of Worshipping the Holy Trinity
The Early Church Believed in the Eucharist
Every Christian is challenged, here and now, to be actively engaged in evangelization ; indeed, anyone who has truly experienced God's saving love does not need much time or lengthy training to go out and proclaim that love.
Pope Francis, Evangelii Gaudium
If angels could be jealous of men, they would be so for one reason: Holy Communion.
St. Maximilian Kolbe
- June 23rd is the feast of Corpus Christi. At the conclusion of the 10:30 Mass, we will make our Eucharistic Procession around the block. We sing hymns and offer prayers as we go. Last year, we had a good number of participants. I encourage all who are able to take part in this simple act of faith - a sign of our unity and God’s goodness.
